The fact is that with so much adoption, there is an excellent opportunity for companies and individual employees to get more value out of such software on an ongoing basis, increase efficiency, reduce errors and more.

The reason it might be imperative for health care decision-makers to determine the efficacy of their existing platforms sooner rather than later is that new data has emerged to show just how big the demand for medical document management systems is going to grow in the next several years, according to Research and Markets. Between 2018 and 2025, the market for these software solutions is likely to grow at a compound annual rate of more than 10 percent, to some $630 million per year at the end of that stretch.
With this industry trend in mind, the more health care companies can do to evaluate their current needs and potential solutions now – especially if they have older records that need to be scanned into the system – the better off they will be when it comes to finding a platform that works for them going forward.
